The tedious planning of complex field installations is a bit of magic. It all begins with the desired or mandatory system upgrade scope and an outage window to execute within. For individual projects as the design and fabrication of equipment is underway, we begin the detailed planning of the outage work. We typically have 12-15 major projects going on during the Spring and Fall outage seasons, so the entire season has to be coordinated in conjunction with one another. We map out careful equipment shipping windows, reserving rental equipment, and daily crew size/manpower needs.
