Gas Turbine Exhaust Silencer upgrades have quickly become Schock's specialty. With our USA installed base aging, and cycling more prevalent, we encounter more and more units in need of repair or replacement. For vertical silencer systems (panels installed in vertical stack portion) it can be more critical. As the silencer panel frames fatigue, they weaken and can actually fall to the stack floor. With a "Schock" system, we install new guides & silencer support brackets at each level. Proper design and meticulous field execution planning makes the difference.
