When we set out to help a customer with an Exhaust Silencer Upgrade, the new design (i.e. how many panels, size, thickness, location, etc.) is just the beginning. Whether we offer Turn-key or just equipment, we plan out every step from design to removal of scrap after all is over. We are also happy to witness or conduct before & after sound testing. Each step of the upgrade process is handled with care. In most cases, the "how to" access and replace the existing silencers is one of the project challenges. The careful steps to ensure a successful project are as follows:
1) Understanding your site acoustic requirements
2) Developing a specification to meet your short and long term operating conditions and needs
3) Once a vendor is chosen; mutual understanding of the design, delivery, and installation conditions
4) Fabrication of the Silencer panels, brackets, guides and misc. held to high quality standards
5) Preparation of shipment and protection of equipment
6) Detailed planning for field installation
7) Execution
Repetition allows the opportunity to improve the process in an attempt to achieve perfection. Each installation reiterates this for Schock. We have installed over 700 Exhaust Silencer Panels in a 5 year period.
